Keegan Law Attends NACDL Sex Defense Seminar
In order to more effectively represent clients accused of sexual offenses, Attorney Joseph Keegan attended the NACDL’s 5th Annual Sex Crimes Conference, “Zealous Advocacy in Sexual Assault & Child Victims Cases”.
The government is well-equipped to prosecute alleged sex offenders with countless investigative techniques like forensic computer analysis, exams, risk evaluations, and DNA, so it is important for lawyers to fully understand and combat their methods. The purpose of the NACDL’s annual sex crimes conference is to make sure that defense attorneys are well-equipped to challenge the government and fine-tune their skills before, during, and after trial.
The seminars addressed multiple topics, including:
- Child sexploitation cases
- DNA evidence
- File-sharing child pornography
- Representing females
- Understanding adolescent complaints
- New investigative techniques
- Client preparation
- Consequences of conviction
Out of more than 500 attendees, Keegan Law was the only criminal defense firm in Boston at the conference.
While Keegan Law has already successfully defended multiple sex cases, including rape, they are now even better equipped to handle any type of sex offense, no matter how complex.
If you are being charged with a sex-related crime, such as rape, sexual abuse, indecent exposure, or child pornography, then please don’t hesitate to contact Keegan Law for a free case evaluation! They are available 24/7 to answer your questions.
